We often forget that England is one of the most beautiful countries in the world to take a holiday. We travel around the world without realising that we have just about everything (OK, maybe not the sunny weather!) on our back door step, including the beautiful University city of Oxford and the surrounding areas.

So what is there to do in this lovely town? Plenty. Maybe start with a walking tour and take in the sights and colleges of the city on foot, and soak up the atmosphere of this vibrant city. Just watch out for the bikes!
If you have kids, you can visit the nearby Didcot Railway Centre, great for Dad too! And there are plenty of picturesque picnic areas to explore along the River Thames. Don't forget that Windsor Castle and Legoland are also fairly close to Oxford, as is Blenheim Palace.
Whatever you decide to do, you will find plenty to keep you and the kids amused for days on end in Oxford.
