Finding an Oxford Currency Broker

Billions and trillions of dollars are traded on the foreign exchange market every day. Obviously large organisations and financial institutions contribute the most amounts to the trillions that are traded; however, many individuals also trade and manage to make a living out of it.

Forex trading basically means trading on different global currencies. Since the marketplace is the entire world, this kind of trading is done over electronic networks. Since this trade follows the sun all over the world, trading is open 24 hours a day and traders can work form their own homes.

Currency brokers are the people who can help us make wise trading decisions. Forex brokers don’t usually charge a commission and make their money from the difference between buying rates and selling rates. (more...)

Sydney Apartments for Tourists

Sydney is the largest city in Australia with a population of over four million people. It is also the most visited place on the continent and welcomes an estimated three million guests each year. As you might expect from a top tourist destination, there are literally thousands of options when it comes to housing accommodation.

Because Sydney is so popular, the hotels in the city tend to fill up quickly and room rates are in a near constant state of flux. That is one reason why many experienced tourists prefer vacation or holiday rentals to hotel rooms.

If you have never stayed in one before, a holiday rental is really nothing more than an average apartment for guests who want to avoid the crowded hotels. These rooms also offer all of the comforts and amenities of a regular apartment. (more...)

Escape for a While

Booking a holiday has never been easier. You can use the internet to book discounted hotels, flights and tours in the click of a mouse. Call me old-fashioned, though, but during this soulless process, we have lost the atmosphere and expert knowledge of a good old human travel agent.

If you live in Oxford, there are still many travel agents where you can sit down, have a cup of tea, and discuss your holiday of a lifetime, whether it is mountain trekking in Nepal or Tuscany villas .

Remember, these guys are experts, travel is their job, and they can often make suggestions or recommendations that you just would not find on the internet. They also have access to discounted flights and hotels, so your whole holiday package should be competitively priced, but with the added value of expert knowledge. (more...)

Enjoy your Staycation in the Cotswolds

Due to the current economical climate, more and more people are looking to stay in the UK for their holidays.

Commonly referred to as a Staycation, spending your hard earned and anticipated annual leave on home soil prevents the need to depend on the plane or boat travel, which are often fraught with problems such of delays and cancellations.

These issues are more easily dealt with if travelling with a companion, but if travelling alone they can be very stressful and make the traveller feel very isolated and lonely. (more...)

Party in Oxford

Oxford is famous chiefly for its university, which is one of the oldest in the world and dominates the city. Visitors tend to engage with Oxford traditions that originate in and around the academic institution, and this has given the area a reputation which makes it out to be rather stuffy and conservative.

Even if, as a tourist to Oxford, you do choose to do typically Oxfordian things, visiting university gardens, playing croquet and punting up and down the river, there remains a whole different underside to the life of an undergraduate that has very little to do with picnics in the sun or tours of the chapel.

The city's drinking culture and student nightlife is nothing short of spectacular and visitors are encouraged to take advantage of the numerous bars and clubs. In fact, Oxford has been hailed as the ideal destination for a Stag Do since it offers tourists the chance to stretch a party out over both day and night. (more...)

The Queen Musical Still Going Strong after Ten Years

Some may argue about the morality of the great and arguably the best British rock-band Queen taking on Paul Rogers to fill in as a front-man singer for the 2008 world tour and an album. But there is no need to argue if it is okay or not for a group of talented youngsters to sing and play the songs of the great band combined and intertwined into a whole show with a distinctive science-fiction story line. With the musicians and singers hand-picked from the hundreds of young pros by the actual members of Queen, the result is just as expected – excellent.

Who would have known ten years ago that We Will Rock You Tickets would be destined to become one of the hottest items on the musical scene market? The show started out simply as an adventure in which the musicians own tribute to the great music and idea of a storyline aided by the famous writer Ben Elton. Fast forward ten years, the casting for the 2012 season is underway and the show itself gets sold out every night.

This is not just another pop musical. It is a story about a cold technological world where a boy discovers a guitar and music that it can bring. But the Gaga police is there to eradicate any human emotions and feeling from the citizens of this “brave new world”. So the boy starts a revolution of music together with his peers. (more...)
